I'm happy enough with the way this black-and-silver mini turned out, but I must admit I'm a little puzzled by the sculptor's posing choice. Why does this man's axe hang limp at his side, and why is he staring into the distance, scratching his head? Perhaps he's seen something astounding? Maybe his prey escaped? Perhaps he's questioning the mysteries of existence?

Maybe in a previous sculpt, the axe kept snapping off. Although that's the kind of thing that allows the people who make axe glue for a living to send their kids to college and hopefully a better life than assistant manager of an axe glue factory.
