The chessboard reminded me strongly of The Prisoner. I already have a slate of illustrations to provide, otherwise I would have drawn a Patrick McGoohan minifig. Just in case I did find some extra time I did some prelminary research into the project and found this amazing UK site, where a fan prefigured (pun) a Lego Village by ten years:
