Brave and the Bold #95, a tycoon asks Batman to rescue her missing fiancee. Startled, Batman unwittingly reveals his somewhat strict view of marriage. Apparently to Batman, marriage means possession, domination...well, perhaps we shouldn't be surprised; look at his outfit.

Well, Batman doesn't have experience, he is single, isn't he? Maybe he got his information from Shakespeare in Much Ado About Nothing.
BENEDICK
That a woman conceived me, I thank her; that she brought me up, I likewise give her most humble thanks: but that I will have a recheat winded in my forehead, or hang my bugle in an invisible baldrick, all women shall pardon me. Because I will not do them the wrong to mistrust any, I will do myself the right to trust none; and the fine is, for the which I may go the finer, I will live a bachelor.
Also, Batman could be inferring HER view of marriage rather than stating his own. She presumably said something to that effect, since he's now parahrasing ehr, so maybe he just assumed she thought of all marriage as a form of submission.
KidHellion makes a good point. I still think it's funny, though. ;)
