I painted the base for this spider quite some time ago, using a technical paint that simulates a kind of crust. The spider itself was painted much more recently, and it turned out pretty well even though all I did was apply a couple of coats of contrast paint and drybrushed a bit of red on the eyes and a couple of the legs. Fearsome.
There's spray-on or paint-on fur, stuff you apply and it dries looking fuzzy, right? That would be even more fearsome, but I guess not good for tabletop play.
ReplyDeleteThe other day, I put out a wolf spider, and it didn't really fit into the catcher container. Put another way, it would have no trouble pressing the Q and T keys at the same time.
Don't tell Sylvia.
